Hi! I’m not sure if there are locations that accept already cooked food but I have a ton of leftovers from yesterday that I most likely wont eat but I don’t want to let them sit in the fridge just to be thrown away and would rather put them to good use

how cozy are you with your neighbors? I have been giving away plates of ham all day up and down the street lol

I doubt anywhere will take them, but you could just drive around looking for people with signs and offer them some. My friends and I used to do that with leftovers after eating at restaurants.
I'm sure someone (who isn't starving) will lecture you about sanitation, though.

Please contact Blessingwarriorsrva.com! They have put so many displaced people in hotels during the last few days with the cold front. They always deliver meals daily, but especially need help now since there don’t seem to be a lot of other organizations helping over the holidays. They are very active on their fb page and were just asking if people had leftovers they wanted to donate yesterday.

Took our leftovers and untouched meals to the homeless in front of Arthur Ashe Center. They took everything, enjoyed it and were much appreciative.

Did you check with blessing warriors? There’s sadly so many people on the streets; maybe you can put some in “throw away” containers and hand them out? Or me :)

Label them with a date made and ingredients, place in your closest Richmond Community Fridge. https://www.rvacommunityfridges.com/fridges
