There's lots of running here. More 5k races than you can shake a stick at. Also monument 10k and Richmond marathon.

There's also event companies like RunRideRace who run events, races etc if you're looking to organize one.

Richmond Road Runners Club and Sportsbackers is a great resource for races specifically. If you’re looking for group runs, City Stadium Runners, One for the Road RVA and RVA Monthly Trail Run on Facebook are good places to start. There’s more groups depending on where you live, feel free to DM.

Commonwealth Timing organizes a couple races if you're looking for something smaller.
