Not sure if this is too specific, but I have close family dealing with cancer. They are constantly in & out of treatment and in between scans and it’s been really tough to find people to talk to about it. I’m wondering if there are any support groups for people whose parents or relatives are in treatment? Preferably not super religious and maybe within the 20s-30s age range. Again, no clue what’s out there but figured somebody on reddit might know.

Massey provides a packet full of resources including support groups and though I can't recall if they are family/friends inclusive it doesn't seem unreasonable to assume that—cancer format dependent—there wouldn't be some variety of therapeutic safety net available to the extended network of the individual.

I unfortunately don’t have any advice, but I’m very sorry you and your family members are going through this.

Please check with te cancer center where they are getting treated. The case manager or the oncologist’s nurse would be able to get you this information.

I’m not sure of any support groups in town, but I’m here if you wanna chat. My dad got diagnosed with stage 4 colon almost two years ago and it’s been a time for sure.

Not sure what type of cancer, but I know the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has some support groups and other caregiver programs: https://www.lls.org/support-resources/caregiver-support. So does ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation: https://www.askccf.org/family-support.html. A non-profit affiliated with your family's diagnosis or even the American Cancer Society may have options. I am sorry you and your family are experiencing this.

Full Circle Grief Counseling might have a group- they have different groups listed up on their website. Hang in there.
