I think that is she same one! Do you happen to remember what is cost per load

I want to say it’s 1.75, but that’s for the small one. I think it’s 3.75 for the commercial size one

When I used to go to the laundromat a couple years ago, regular size machines were $2.50 and the larger ones ranged from $4.50 to $10 for the really huge one. Dryers were like a quarter per 8 minutes. It may be a bit more now. The laundromat on Cleveland in the MD took cards but idk about that one in Lakeside unfortunately. ETA laundromats usually have change machines in my experience.

All I can find that might fit the bill would be Lakeside Laundry, 6947 Lakeside Ave. Their website is dead and their Yelp reviews don't say anything about cost.

If its run by Richmond Coin laundry the BIGGEST washers cost 7.50 a load and its 25c/5min dry. One specifically on chamberlane charges $1/pound drop off service

yeahhh!!!! I was able to wash all my weekly clothes and my bedset in one of the big boys!!! Just be careful about overloading them. I have no idea what measurement "baskets" is but they never match the clothes baskets I buy

I highly recommend replacing with a Speed Queen. Used to have a Samsung but our maid prefers the Speed Queen.

Here is the deal with Speed Queen washer & dryer:
They are, for all intents and purposes, commercial, coin-operated appliances with the coin-op parts removed.
Before you say "eww, gross, I want something fancy" consider what makes a commercial appliance attractive to a business:
- Device needs to be robust
- Device needs to last
- Device needs to be easy to repair or service
Check this guy out on TikTok:
https://www.tiktok.com/@mcmullanappliance
That guy is in Canada where Speed Queen is sold under the "Huebsch" brand name.
But he has several videos that will show you the difference between Speed Queen and competing products.
Speed Queen is only available in mom & pop stores, such as Lakeside Appliances

Downvoted by a bunch of Samsung lovers. You’re missing out not going with speed Queen. We have two sets in our main house and another at the River. Never let me down.

I’ve been to the one at the corner of lakeside and Hilliard. I don’t remember cost or if they take cards, sorry!
