I wish I knew what the situation on that one was, just for the sake of my burning curiosity. Still I'm very glad that this subreddit taught me last year that the Active Calls website exists. It's interesting to learn which areas of the city (or even specific blocks) get a lot of calls. I've seen "officer down" on there a few times (but I've never heard/learned anything about what had happened). What amazes me is how often I see "IN-PROGRESS (Assault or battery by mob)" on there.

My guess would be the call descriptions are pretty non-specific. If someone calls and says they've been assaulted by two guys I'd guess that'd show up as a mob on the site. Just my assumption since I haven't experienced many random encounters with roving mobs.

A billion years ago (ok fine, like 10-12), I worked at a restaurant that did delivery, so I would keep the site up so drivers could see any issues they needed to avoid. It used to populate with more information. Like, the entry would be something like “MVA Property Damage” and there would be a box with a small description. Stuff like “female driver drunk and belligerent”. I assume they stopped for privacy reasons, but it could get entertaining.

Feel like it hasn't been that up to date recently. For instance, neighborhood calls that don't show up at all.

Not that I’ve found. I just checked the Hanover Emergency Communications web page again and I don’t see anything there.
