Every year around this time, I have a headache for a week before I remember I should start taking Allegra again. And every year I laugh at myself for doing this over and over.

Open up that google calendar, pop a reminder for January 10th or something, title it "Stock up on Allegra". I do this with any problem I know I'll have again next year. I even put my registration and oil change on my calendar. Make life easy.

So many of us are allergic to dust/mold and being indoors with our houses closed up concentrates all that. I highly recommend getting on your preferred antihistamine (they often take a few days to do their job) and using Sudafed (from behind the pharmacy counter) to get through the acute congestion for a day or two. My go to is Allegra/fexofenadine, Zyrtec is kind of weird-inducing for me.

I have year-round allergies and I've been having mild symptoms this past week. Headaches and coughing mostly.

Yeah, mold is a big allergy for me. The wet weather and temp fluctuations seems to be stirring things up for me right now anytime I go outside.

Same here. My allergies spike when it rains which is counterintuitive. You’d think the rain would knock down the allergens in the air 🤷🏻‍♂️

I this, but I have to keep two dehumidifiers running and have multiple monitors to make sure the indoor humidity stays below 50%. It’s just one of the ways to prevent mold

Yes! My eyes have felt really tired and like there is fluid trapped around them. I hope you find relief soon.

MOLD. Just got tested this week. Zyrtec year round, but allergist switched me to Flonase "Sensimist" because it's a thicker formula and hangs mid-nose so I can sleep. I'm coming up on my 10th consecutive year in Richmond and now I'm considering shots because I'm miserable 11 months out of the year.

Like there’s a lot of mold outside in the air?

I keep thinking I’m getting a cold or some other crud, but it’s been a week now, and I think maybe it’s just allergies. I’m normally a spring/fall sufferer, but I’ve had the headache, eye crud, and drippy nose like I do with allergies.

My husband is! Zyrtec not really helping. Funny thing is that I usually get the killer allergies, not him… must be something that doesn’t usually get me.

Try Xyzal. I made the switch to that a couple years ago and it helped a lot. Also Flonase Sensimist as someone else mentioned. You can get these both in bulk at Costco.

Okay so while I’m here, seems like I’m not the only one who thinks Allegra/generic equivalent blows all other allergy meds out of the water. Zyrtec and Claritin just don’t do anything for me

Weird cause I’m usually very sensitive but I’m fine atm

Yep, my sinuses are not happy right now. I think I blew some brain matter into my tissue earlier from blowing my nose so much.

The weather changes do it to me. Have had congestion and swollen sinuses this past week. I’m allergic to mold, but not so bad.

Dude same. I've started sleeping with my head elevated and humidifier next to me and the difference is literally night and day.

The past few nights I've been having a tough time breathing. And its weird, it has been an annual thing at this time of year for me for 4 or 5 years now. This year hasn't been as bad as 2020 was, but its been worse than '21 and '22.

Try pathway drops for your eyes, azelastine for sneezing, runny nose. I believe they are now otc.

Been feeling like shit for a couple weeks. I definitely think it's mold.

Sinus infections, earache and a nagging cough.
