Both of my kids were part of this program and it was so cool to get the books.

Favorite part of this article is the note about many of these kids not knowing who Dolly Parton is other than the books. As a fan of her music, I have to say I love this the most. Really tugs the heartstrings.
The best thing you can do for children is introduce them to reading at an early age, and continue to support their development. I am eternally grateful that my parents made sure to introduce me to books at an early age, I don’t think I would be where I am at today without that.

I'd love for this program to come to Chesterfield county.

Next the MAGA’s will try and ban book mailing.

It is cool Dolly donates lots of books, but the answer is funding more public educational services not funneling more money to non-profit tax havens.

Cool, how do you get the people to show up for the services and take advantage of them?

The more individuals and private groups do the less we have to rely on taxes and government to do for us. It’s a win-win.

Dolly Parton is a frickin saint. Seriously, she's an incredibly benevolent human being.
