I missed it by just a couple of minutes apparently. I set an alarm and everything.

I saw a rising ball of light very clearly for about 2 mins until the boosters cut out. From the roof of an industrial plant near the airport.

Had a clear view of it from Lakeside. I figured out a long time ago that if I go stand in the middle of my street and look east (as the street is perfectly aligned to the east) within 30 seconds of launch I can see them over the horizon, and got to see this one for about a minute...

I read a post about it at 6pm, looked out my window and saw a red flare rising very slowly to the east. Pretty cool because I always miss these things.

I saw it from Atlee. It was far more satisfying than I imagined, watching the live footage on my phone then looking up and seeing it climb over the trees and off up.

I had a clear view from my neighborhood in New Kent.

I saw one close up in Chincoteague a couple years ago. If you ever get a chance to do so, it's awesome.
