PSA: Indecent exposure at Byrd Park

PSA: Yesterday there was a man masturbating in a parked car on the side of Swan Lake in Byrd Park on the side closest to Lakeview Ave. It was an older looking silver Honda Civic. The incident was reported to police but nothing was done. Please be careful!

What could they do unless they saw him doing it or op had video evidence? I'm legit asking. Like even if they drove there right when op called they'd likely be long gone.

Sucks this shit happens but I don't think the police would actually do anything.

I know of (a friend of a friend) who had the misfortune of changing in his car for an after work run and got caught and prosecuted because there had been a series of car masturbators in the park recently.

The fact that he was a different race did not stop the prosecutor from trying to pin the whole string of incidents on him. He lost his security clearance at work as a result of his bad decision to do a quick change in a corner of the parking lot.

The man was probably cruising. Certain gay men or not out men into men will use parks as a way to anonymously meet others.

Think theres a documentary out about men cruising in RVA.
