My relatives lived near one of these sites. Rare blood disease, cancers, birth defects all happened!

Vermont doesn't look too bad - relatively speaking, of course.

The city I grew up in has (as of this summer) 7/9 wells/aquifer access points contaminated with PFAS to a point that they’re currently unusable. We’re in the Northern Midwest, a climate sanctuary, yet still struggle with getting our most abundant local resource.

Let’s see this analysis for acrylamide contamination in bakeries and coffee shops. Go to California and every item has a cancer warning.

they missed a bunch of them in wv, pfas and worse. i know some places where they were driving stakes in the ground to nail concrete form supports to and they caught on fire. they had to bring in concrete barriers to nail to. not sure what that was but it can't be good.

Seeing these maps is always really hard. Lost one of my best friends/late husband (he didn't want to die alone...) when he was 22 and I was 21 to esophageal adenocarcinoma. He grew up in a community that's suspected to be heavily exposed.
