"Results Both THC and THC/CBD significantly increased self-rated state anxiety compared to placebo. State anxiety after THC/CBD was significantly lower than after THC alone. THC-induced anxiety was independent of anxiety at baseline. When baseline anxiety was low, CBD completely counteracted THC-induced anxiety; however, when baseline anxiety was high, CBD did not counteract THC-induced anxiety. There were no effects of any treatment condition on the EST."

So if you're naturally anxious either way you will still be anxious?

Vibes with my own experience. I stopped using weed regularly when I realized it was making my anxiety worse. I’m a naturally anxious person.

Did you try ingesting rather than smoking?

Either form will give me greater anxiety if I use it regularly. I never understood why people always said they smoked to chill out or relax because it’s always had the opposite effect on me. Like if I smoke I can’t go to sleep for at least 2-3 hours after because my mind will be too active.

Well you do you! I use cannabis instead of drinking alcohol. Good job being honest w yourself!

It took me years to figure things out. Now I’m just careful to use cannabis in smaller doses and to not use it daily. I prefer it over alcohol as well!

I have to recommend you Google the 'Dynavap'. Game changer

If poke party can come across one to try before buying, Volcanos are fantastic and madly expensive.

Edit: a comma

I have had one for about 2 years and use it occasionally with great success for relaxation, sleep, or fun. The strain of marijuana is important. Try a small amount until you find what you're looking for. I have one kind for sleep (kosher tangie) and one for fun (cherry dosido). Took awhile of trying different strains and reading up on them to find what I wanted. The original VapCap is still my go to. Smoothest and tastiest drag I've had. The Vong is also fun but takes a bit more tinkering and maintenance like most bongs do. Great suggestion you made.

Thanks mate. I genuinely think this device could help so many people out. I quit smoking tobacco with one of these and even people who don't smoke weed can use it.

There are a ton of flowers you can vape as a tobacco substitute. Lavender, camomile, and valerian to name just three and honestly, lavender through a vape tastes and smells amazing and it's actually quite relaxing. Obviously it doesn't get you high like cannabis but it is very pleasant.

They do. 'B' model now too which is only about 30 odd quid. It's a great little device.

Given that marijuana is often touted as a treatment for anxiety, this seems like pretty good information to get out of a study. I'm not sure why you phrased that so dismissively.

I asked a question after reading a part of the study.

Oh, sorry! I didn’t realize you were struggling understanding the excerpt that you posted- it sounded like you were just asking a rhetorical question for snark.

Did you get an answer, or are you still confused about the results of the study? I ask because I'm happy to explain if so!

It seems intuitive, plus I take it that's their findings from these two dozen and two subjects.
