Considering the Abrahamic decline facing much of the world and relative conservative disunity I see little cause for concern regarding cultural reactionary politics.

To be honest this is one of the major reasons I am excited about transhumanism and nanotech medicine. I see this technology as a path to a world without these people. I get what you're saying and agree, the politics will be awful. But...

People who embrace the tech will:

have various augmented capabilities be smarter be stronger be healthier be better at.... all physical and mental tasks live longer

As compared to those who fight against it, and the gap will only widen with each day. Good, this is what we should strive for! Once it all takes off they won't matter for long.

EDIT: Where have all the carriage returns gone? 😒

I think the problem with modern approach to transgenderism is that it's like giving someone a wooden leg and then trying to pretend it's the real thing. Which hopefully the more advanced transhumanism will solve. And the same goes for racism and sexism. So those things can actually become social constructs. Like picking your clothes or car.

Tech will eventually reach a point were all material attributes of who we are will be fluid. The only thing that is eternal is that which is inside your mind, having experiences of the world. When you look inside and find the one that it’s looking, what do you see? Is it human? Does it have gender? A race? This singular point of consciousness is who you are and it is beyond any worldly classification. What transhumanisn ultimately wants to achieve is to to liberate the light from it’s flashy prison. To allow the mind to manifest unrestricted into the world of matter. It’s not as much that we will be able to chose whether we are men or women, but that we will be able to flow through the body of either men or a women. The thing that you really are is that what is flowing through, it was never the body in the first place

Those reactionary ideologies will be swept away, I wouldn't worry about it.

And as this tech is perfected, the people who are against will find it increasingly difficult to tell what's 'real' and what's 'fake'. Eventually, it will be impossible to meaningfully oppose it.

Labelling people who disagree with your views as "transphobic" is a dangerous precedent to set. I don't agree with the current treatments of gender dysphoria - especially those involving kids, but this does not make me transphobic.
