But there are many stupid longevity posts here and other stupid posts that have nothing to do with singularity, I think many people forget this sub is not r/futurology

Also the optimism on this sub is super annoying, Some people think we will have agi next year, some think we will have full dive vr before 2030. I also remember 2020 when gpt3 came out, a lot of people here believed that we could get agi in 2022, Does people not understand we still have a lot of problems to fix in ai? for example memory? And i won't even start on full dive vr before 2030 because that is a whole new level of wishfull thinking.

Let's be realistic here.

I believe we will get agi but in 2030s.
