I wonder when Some Ordinary Gamers will talk about this?

That is actually insane. Does anyone know if the Linux terminal was hand coded into gpt-chat? Like does it show up whenever certain keywords are mentioned? I'm assuming that interface has to be called up manually on the backend but idk. Pretty amazing though.

I'm not an expert, but my assumption is that it knows enough about linux and how it should behave and it knows all of the functions of all of the commands and that's how it knows how to respond correctly. Linux isn't actually running, it just knows how linux would behave if given certain commands, and even knows that if you create a file and put text into it, that linux would save it and would be able to recall the text later if needed, so it emulates that behavior.

Can you hack the ‘virtual machine’? Like what happens if we ask it to find a buffer overrun? Or what if we ask it to disclose proprietary IP?

Damn I used to think we were decades from the singularity, but this thing is changing my mind fast. We might be months away.
