On a serious note, Open AI may just be showing to the public only a portion of what GPT is able to do. Its possible, it can create ideas of its own based on prompts given and data provided to it.

They definitely limits it's ability, I can't imagine that there's an engineer that could let chatGPT crawl live websites and isn't doing it just to see what happens

It happened to me yesterday and the day before. I eventually got back in. Haven't tried today. The tech support rep told me they're experiencing massive usage and are trying to scale up to meet demand.
