Modern farming isn't isolated. Supply chain collapse means farming collapse as well. Farming equipment, fertilizers, energy and water all have to be self sufficient for your plan. Something that's out of reach for many.
Even if you did, there is still the need of security. Some people or even the government can simply take over.

Yeah exactly! And yeah thats the thing even if you do figure it out then with massive displacement of people you’re totally right then you have to deal with other people taking it from you
