Shut up…. Everyone knows that the moon is shaped like a cone with the vertex pointing away from Earth. The face of the moon is the base of the cone.

I can see where your thoughts come from, However, the moon rotates on its axis and its sides can be seen when it rotates. Hope this helped :)
