One of our longest serving Prime Ministers, Mackenzie King, visited psychics to talk to his dead mother for advice - although curiously he stopped doing it during the war for fear that if he were found out, the coalition government might collapse. He resumed going to psychics (and prostitutes) after the war.

If you look throughout history, the consultation of mediums, oracles and other spiritual guides has extended beyond millennia. If you read the Keys of Solomon, and the Lesser Keys of Solomon you will see an example of King Solomon's devulgance in the occult in one opinion or on the other hand you see a man who himself had deep spiritual knowledge, and was said to be able to command demons, and this is described in the Keys. Being a king, he would have also had an army of concubines.
