It is impossible for anything with mass to travel AT the speed of light. You can get arbitrarily close, though.

And if wormholes, warp or some other FTL ever is developed, the question is moot anyway.

It's theoretically possible to convert somebody into light and they would then travel at the speed of light, but I have no idea how they might rematerialize at their destination.

Being able to transcend 3rd & 4th dimension.

If a 2d being was sentient it would perceive our 3d abilities to be a phenomon as well.

No. Anything that travels at the speed of light would have an infinite mass; to move something with infinite mass would require infinite energy. It isn't just an issue of technology, it is a fundamental limit of physics for anything with a non-zero mass.
