I thought it was pretty cool watching it as a kid. Kurt Warner played for the Iowa Barnstormers.

We went to just about every Philadelphia Soul home game from 2006-2009. When done right, it's a fantastic event and very affordable.

Hell yes! My middle school teacher was a cheerleader for the Chicago Rush so we got tickets all the time. I still jam out to the Kurt Warners AFL Unleashed game occasionally🤣

Curious as to which teams will be playing in this iteration. The official site doesn't list any teams yet.

My guess is they won’t be announced for a few months.

I guess. It just seems odd to me that they would announce with a specific number but not list at least the cities/areas rather than say "at least 12 teams" and then work on finalizing from there.

I mean, I would imagine they wouldn't say that (you would think?) unless there was some assuredness of that many teams there. But, I could be wrong, it's happened before.

The Washington valor games were pretty fun. You could get nice box seats for super cheap.

They also had the “bud light zone” directly behind one endzone, where you had unlimited beer. I think season tix came out to like $40 a game, 6 games in the season.

The best was the scheduling. The games were like mid Saturday, so a great pregame, and still have the whole afternoon/evening to go out after

Very high action - I’d recommend it if you live close to a team! I brought a friend to one game (he’s not a football fan) and he had a great time

Yeah there were a good deal of afternoon games even at the league's height, because a lot of them were Nationally televised.

Wonder if it’s an IFL rebranding/merger or if they just found new teams and are essentially trying to have AFL compete against IFL

I feel like it will fail again because there's just too many football options in this country

I'm all for small football leagues but I'm thinking the market may be stretching thin.

Lord knows where the USFL and XFL will be in a year, and I'd argue that the AFL is a different product with a lot of history behind it. That said, you're right, this is a bold move, Cotton.

The Preds IP is currently being used by the NAL, but we'll see what happens in the next year.

As long as the NHL is marketed the way that it is with all the streaming problems.

hockey isnt only played on sundays though, theres 82 scheduled games for each NHL team in a season. as someone who "follows sports tv ratings" im surprised you dont know that.

look, its ok to be wrong. nobody else is watching bud.

its exhausting having to have these kinds of conversations where one person says a thing thats wrong and then doubles down and tries to solve NHLs marketing problems.

all im saying is the numbers are down, which they are. and then you said it was doing great, which its not lol

if you were a fan like you say, you would have seen some of the posts on literally every hockey reddit and all of the comments talking about it. and all of the comments for the last 3 years about NHLs piss poor streaming options and blackouts.

its not just sundays man. and you dont have the answers lol. i never said nobody cares about it, the people who arent watching the games are saying it. i dont even think ur a hockey fan, you just want it look like you know everything.
