They are going up against a South American bid from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Hopefully that gets the support from everyone and Saudi Arabia gets called on their attempts to buy another sport.

Splitting games between those 2 countries seems like a nightmare for fans.

Wait, I don't understand... why don't they just bribe FIFA directly like everyone else?

Why would Saudi need co hosts? Saudi is a huge country all on its own with allot of money to host all on it's own. Or has the world cup changed the rules that you need 3 nations to host now?

Not that I want them to get it, but that's a pretty smart play.

They don’t need co-hosts but it helps drive appeal to the bid. Helping 2 smaller countries by footing the bill looks good on them. They are still hosting 75% of the tournament. Not having to build stadiums to host all the opening round games will also probably save them money and there’s a chance they can use existing infrastructure in the other countries.

They’ll win the next WC, FIFA is pretty much bigger scale WWE, everything is staged for economic gain.

Look at Copa America, there’s probably 90% chance the host country wins so they can keep the stadiums packed and sell more crap unless there is a large country nearby (small % of fans willing to travel is still large due to a large population), then those countries win.

If it not going to Morocco then better give it to Greece, Egypt and Saudi Arabia

I don't actually hate the Egypt/Saudi/Greece bid. That said, I like the South American bid MUCH better, and especially for 2030. I would also argue that if they want another "arabic" Cup appearance, Spain and Portugal pairing with Morocco would be really good too.

Let em. If they wanna build a bunch of high expensive stadiums and throw a big party then so be it.
