My understanding is that the Russian players don’t want to wear it at least partially for fear of the Russian government
Yup, if I had to choose between wearing a rainbow jersey at the risk of my families well-being, I wouldn’t wear it either. People in the comments don’t realize how good we have it compared to so many other countries.

They are not at risk from wearing a jersey there is no Kremlin statement saying any nhl player following western gay propaganda will be executed the only thing they even begin to care about is open opposition to their war or their government.
The kremlin absolutely has an agenda against the lgbtq+ community. I don’t even think that is debatable.
Lol I know if you think they are going to go to America to kill a hockey player for a jersey you are nuts
Presumably they have family and stuff who live in Russia and are Russian citizens. You’re literally having an argument with yourself. I never said they are going to kill them in America lol
They are not going to kill their family either they're not north Korea yet. Do you realize how much international news that would cause nhl players family killed for response to wearing a jersey do you realize how much that would piss off international Russians. All they have is the ablity to care about is "anti war" "propaganda" in Russia. Also a tennis player visibly came out in defense of no war and guess what his family is fine.
Youre literally having an argument about things I did not say lol. Have fun
I literally showed you a famous Russian against the war with a living family in russia which was your point but go off moron.
I will pray you can learn actual communication skills
Huh are you having an argument with yourself?
