Yup, if I had to choose between wearing a rainbow jersey at the risk of my families well-being, I wouldn’t wear it either. People in the comments don’t realize how good we have it compared to so many other countries.

They are not at risk from wearing a jersey there is no Kremlin statement saying any nhl player following western gay propaganda will be executed the only thing they even begin to care about is open opposition to their war or their government.

They are not going to kill their family either they're not north Korea yet. Do you realize how much international news that would cause nhl players family killed for response to wearing a jersey do you realize how much that would piss off international Russians. All they have is the ablity to care about is "anti war" "propaganda" in Russia. Also a tennis player visibly came out in defense of no war and guess what his family is fine.
