So in other words not all, not even majority. Do we believe in collective punishment because of a minority here in the west? Thought that's supposed to be what Russians do not us

43 were caught, (these are just confirmed cheaters with one specific government sponsor cheating program) out of 232. And yes I’ve seen NCAA teams lose eligibility for violations of the few.
Russia is also violating the spirit of the Olympic with its unprovoked invasion of a neighboring country. Russia is also committing war crimes by constantly attacking civilians electricity depriving them of heat and water. Any Russian medals will be used as propaganda for their enslaved populace during wartime, There is a bigger picture picture involved.
Anyway. Since this article posted Russian allow to compete under neutral flag

When a huge amount got caught the rest had to go through strict checks... Says so in your own link pal. Minority got caught either cheating or were implicated via fabricated tests. Many refused to comply with the stricter requirements, some boycotted because of the rules being perceived as unfair, every single Russian athlete that has been competing since the scandal under neutral flag has complied with stricter requirements. So... Maybe read your own links and don't just cherrypick a number randomly. Your quoted numbers are why they already got punished, guilty ones got banned, rest were subjected to harsher rules, because of systematic problem instead of just athletes own initiative Russian flag got dropped. We already had crime, investigation, and punishment...
As for invasions and warcrimes those cannot be reason to ban Russia or even their flag when US and Turkey and Saudis get away with the same behaviour. Why should Olympics hold Ukrainian civilians being slaughtered to any higher regard than Iraqi or Yemeni civilians?

Need to drug test Russian athletes 3x per week. Blood, urine and hair analysis. All surprise tests, done by EU technical staff and labs. Start next week, every week, no exceptions, all the way through the 2026 Olympics. 3 hot tests or no-shows and all Russians are out. Same for Belarus.

Olympics should remove nationalism. Let everyone compete as an individual.

While I agree, it means too much to the countries that only have a couple athletes competing or rarely medal. But when I'm watching I really could not care less if the US wins another 50 golds or a dozen more swimming medals, etc. Be fine with just letting athletes compete and if you want to mention where they are from that's fine too but not pretend that an entire country is a "team."
