Rugby League doesn't have rucks so this doesn't land that well I'm afraid.

Actually they do, but not in the rugby sense of competing for the ball. The ruck is the play the ball area in League

It in no way resembles its namesake. The only reason it's called that is because that's where a ruck used to be.
