I didn’t say calling out rampant racism was racist. That wouldn’t make any sense. I said generalizing a group of people as “ some of the most racist mfs on the planet” is a pretty backwards and racist statement. You can easily say “Italy has a racism issue”. I’m sure anyone looking into the issue wouldn’t necessarily disagree with that. But calling an entire race of people racist seems like a prejudiced generalization. and if we’re judging an entire population of people based on the actions of political leaders….well let’s say we have a long list to write. A list that also extends far beyond Europe. Also, if Italians indeed are “some of the most racist mfs on the planet”, does that include the athlete in this article? I don’t think so, but if I’m following the logic, there seems to be s conflict.

Calling out rampant racism as racism is racist itself, and anyone agreeing or disagreeing with that is also racist.
