He is a good example of why I can’t think of a compelling reason why players should have to wait more than two years for the writers to do the right thing before allowing the players committee to vote.

Well deserved. He changed the lives of my friends and I with his swing we all tried to imitate immediately after his very first Braves at bat. I remember my couch yelling at us “what the hell are you doing?!”

I had the privilege of watching him play in San Diego in the early 90s. What a ball player! One of the most unassuming guys to ever lace up cleats. So happy he’s headed to Cooperstown!

Love the Crime Dogg!!! I had seats behind home plate at Jack Murphy stadium, with a direct view down the 1st base line. Crime Dogg jerked a moon shot to the second deck straight down the 1st baseline. I’ll never forget the crack of his bat and how he murdered that pitch. Pretty much had his view. Well deserved HOF inductee.
