This seems like one of those headlines we look back on in a month and go, "Boy, that escalated quickly."

The violations include alleged impermissible contact with recruits during the NCAA-mandated dead periods, as well as the use of a defensive analyst for on-field coaching activities, a rules violation. Sources told ESPN that Harbaugh's cooperation with NCAA enforcement staff during the investigation is also being examined. Harbaugh could face penalties that include a multigame suspension, sources said.

Thank goodness no showers or physicals involved, just plain old cheating

Does anyone know what they mean by having a defensive analyst monitoring the field during coaching hours? Like they had a d-specialist watching them practice and that’s not allowed? Or they hired someone to spy on other teams? I don’t get it.

The only reason Harbaugh was still there this year is because the Vikings didn't hire him. He "expects to be at Michigan" unless he is offered any other NFL job.

Beginning of the end. B1G consequences and will step away from the team and eventually take a HC job in the NFL

Arizona perhaps?

Some of these allegations were self reported by the university to the NCAA. Apparently Harbaugh misled the NCAA though. Relatively minor infractions, NCAA wants to take out Harbaugh. Somebody high up doesn't like him.

To be fair to the guy, Cincinnati’s relationship with the rest of the state is…complicated. I think he genuinely meant it as a joke aimed at poking fun at OSU fans. I do understand why many don’t see it as such, though.
