I thought the funny plant was funny I lol’d but I’m also high 🤣
That's also what i was told.
Good to know.
On a related topic: Any "first try" recommendations for someone that only didn't touch the stuff because it was illegal?
Kinda depends what you're interested in and what kind of high you're after. The budtender will be very helpful in that regard.
If you wanna brush up on some info first, look at the different terpenes that are common are your selected dispensary, and research on what those terpenes do. It’ll give you more of an idea of a strains capabilities by the terpenes in the bud/concentrate. Taken from Google: Cannabis terpenes are similar to the more well-known compounds of THC and CBD. Like these main chemicals, marijuana terpenes have various therapeutic attributes that include analgesic, anti-anxiety, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Google: No, terpenes will not get you high. Even though some terpenes can have slight psychoactive effects, they will not get you “high” in the traditional sense. Most of the psychoactive effects of cannabis come from THC. THC stands for tetrahydrocannabinol, and it is a cannabinoid, not a terpene.
Terpenes augment and enhance the THC experience. Highly recommend first timers get either flower or full extract concentrates for their first time, and don't jump straight to the THC-only edibles and vapes.
Easy Mountain is open for rec today.
Some places are open today. Easy Mountain, for one. Not sure about any others, I thought I heard Flora or somebody in town was going to open today.
Yeah I posted this before the news broke
What, really??
Easy Mountain in republic is selling today
I tried this but couldn’t see much about prices
Nothing Blunt Cakes.
Do your own research. Rec licenses were distributed early. As of Feb 3rd. Call your local dispensary and see if they got their recreational license. I know of at least 2 locations that are available today.
This is anecdotal advice, based on my own research as of today. As I am someone who has benefited from the own information I have relayed to you today.
February 6 was the State's deadline to approve and distribute the recreational licenses to the business that applied for it. As of today Feb 3 licenses are/have been distributed.
You can buy today! I did at Hippos. Route 66 is also selling
Route 66 started today a few hours ago.

You can use https://www.leafly.com/ to browse what are the local dispensaries, they have their websites on there so you can potentially check there (currently it shows that they require a medical card, I'm assuming it'll change when things go live). I believe it's starting next week that recreational is allowed to be sold?
