All the licenses have been bought up by the MED dispo’s through a “fair” lottery system. Even if they did open they could only do business with Missouri REC manufactures who are already own the MED manufacturing license. Whoever informed you on that should consult legal advise before jumping in without the proper knowledge.

I’m not sure. I know all the medical dispensaries in town have security and a pretty lengthy process before you event enter the place.

The only places allowed to get rec licenses is the dispensary currently. No new licenses will be released for few yrs probably says dhss the state who deals with the licenses

Could they have been referring to the legal alt cannabinoids that many vape shops are already selling? Either way, I wouldn't trust a vape shop not to sell me mystery fluids and 1:1 D8:seven dust gummy bears. Go to a proper dispensary for your classic flowers. Go to Swin or Hemporium for small amounts of alt cannabinoids. Order ounces of D8 and HHC distillate for under $1/g if you want to maximize your cannabis cost efficiency.

I asked if that was the long game plan at Vapor World on Glenstone and Cherry a while back when they opened the Glass World next door (which has since been combined into one) the person working at the time basically said not really because it's different licensing, seemed like it wasn't really the plan but that could change over time idk. That was also long before it actually for really real passed...some several petitions ago lol.

It would make sense since they already carry delta, CBD and even flower for both but 🤷

It's not that lengthy. I went today and the process was super easy and the wait was maybe 10 minutes. You stand in line, get your picture taken, go through another door, hand the lady your license and sit down and wait to go back and shop.

I know the Kratom shops in STL will not sell THC. They sell that delta 8, I think it’s called and CBD. The stores would have to be set up security wise to accommodate THC products. Also dispensaries are not yet allowed to take credit cards. I think that is another reason.

I doubt they'll be able to get licensing for rec. After this phase of med dispensaries transitioning to comprehensive licenses (that is med and rec -and there were only two med locations that did not apply for the comprehensive), there will be a license application phase for all others.

From what I've read, there will only be 6 approved dispensaries for each congressional district (there are 8 districts) so only 42 additional dispensaries will be approved in the State.

Is it possible that Vapor World and other Vape shops getting a rec license? Yeah, it's possible but I don't see it happening.
