Got it, thank you. Message me with your issue at heavyheads417@gmail.com, and I'll see if I can fix it, or get you pointed in the right direction!
What model?
Pioneer Pl-115d
I'm not really sure. I grew up in the time of RadioShack. But I've learned to repair my own. What kind of turntable (make and model)? I might be able to help you troubleshoot.
There's also alot of resources out there on turntable repair.
i have an audio technica lp60x
I am fairly familiar with that one. What kind of issues are you having?
skipping on almost every record i have (even if they’re brand new) and also speed issues even if its set to the right rpm
Probably needs a needle or the counterweight adjusted
no counterweight adjusting. i’ve considered upgrading but my turntable is fairly new and i don’t want it to go to waste
At $150 for a new LP60X, I wonder if service would even be worth the money.
Jim’s audio and video repair on scenic just south of Battlefield rd
That place has been around forever.
Thank you thats the one I was trying to remember the name of. The owner of stick it in your ear recommended them and I've also had a buddy have his stuff fixed there
What's the issue with it? I fixed mine with posting in r/turntables and getting some help. Might also be a good way to troubleshoot.
Try Heavy Heads on Olive near the square. The owner is very knowledgeable. We took out turntable there last year and he got it working like brand new.
