There is a large Mormon population in and around Springfield so it wouldn’t be surprising to find that some are fundamentalist.

The Fundamentalist group (Warren Jeffs group) is located up in Stockton. The Mormon population in Springfield is different from them.

There's actually multiple subgroups there. This particular sect was originally started with property bought and owned by those affiliated with the AUB. Those from flds and others came in later.

They're not all FLDS. I'm an ex sister wife from there. The Ranch land was originally purchased by a sub group of AUB. A pretty sizable portion of the Stockton/Humansville plyg people are still AUB.
