I want to vote on Greene County issues. Anyone know if this is possible? (More context below.)

I live between Rogersville and Springfield. My property is in Greene County and I pay Greene County taxes for everything I own. My nearest polling place is a Rogersville school (if I had kids, they’d go to Rogersville schools) so I’m forced to vote on Webster County and Rogersville matters.

I want to vote on Greene County and Springfield matters. Is this not possible since I have a Rogersville address?

Check here to confirm you are registered at your current address. It will also tell you your polling place and districts that you vote in. If you live in Greene county and Springfield school district, you will be able to vote in the school district election

Thank you for the link! I couldn’t get details on the site but called Jeff City. I have more questions than answers now. My polling place potentially has both Greene and Webster ballots and I’ve been getting Webster by default. I’ll have to sort it out next election and contact Greene County if a Greene County ballot isn’t available at my polling place.

Interesting! I have both Springfield and Battlefield ballots at mine, and have always gotten the correct one, but at least they're in the same county.

I live just outside the city limits on the south side. My north property line is actually the city limit and the city has nearly annexed the property completely around me to add Stone Meadow. With that, I have a Springfield address and my children attend Springfield public schools. I can vote for the school board but not for city council or most city issues.

True, true. I’m the last street in Greene County this direction so they’ve got me hooked for taxes.
