Anyone else’s Verizon 5G totally down in the Springfield area? My whole family usually gets 5G service but all of us have dropped back to LTE. Anyone else experiencing this, just curious?

Has anyone reached out to Verizon to see what's going on? We're paying for 5G service and so... are not getting what we paid for. I'll be calling in the AM, simply curious if someone has beat me to it?

Reached out to them today. Claimed everything was nominal on their end. Though it can be a time suck, if anyone who isn’t getting 5G service (and who pays for it) submits a tech request, maybe it’ll get some traction.

Called today and was able to get a ticket submitted with the Network Engineer team. I will reply once I hear back!

I was just told that there is maintenance on all of the towers in the area. No timeline for completion.

Not Verizon, but my Mint Mobile 5G is up (uses T-Mobile towers). I’ve always been curious whether T and V ever discretely share towers but it appears they do not.

All carriers share towers with each other in some way. Although they all use different antennas/equipment though, that's why one carrier can have wildly different performance/technology compared to another carrier on the same tower. It's kinda like fiber and cable internet sharing the same pole.

Ahh. So the physical towers might be shares but the antennas and equipment may not be. Is that what you’re saying?

Can confirm still no 5G for all of my Verizon devices! Did the usual “troubleshooting” nothing helped! So definitely an infrastructure problem!
