Thank you! I’ve considered investing in some, at least a children at play sign! I will most likely be asking again since I don’t want actual legal trouble for anyone, just to be shown the courtesy I show.
That’s understandable! Good luck!!
In the grand scheme of life...man who cares? You know she feels bad about it they obviously don't have a lot of money. Just be friendly with your neighbor maybe they get married and move. Life's too short for silly drama 😉
Seems important to care if you can’t see kids playing around the semi parked in the street until they are in front of your car.
It’s blocking the street so no one can safely pass in their vehicles, and I can’t leave my driveway without almost being hit. I’d love to leave it be! If it wasn’t a hazard
I meant a parking lot, she can’t afford storage for when he comes home. Which I get, but aren’t you allowed to park at truck stops?
You are only allowed to park at truck stops while sleeping and utilizing the truck stop. In other words it is for paying customers. Many businesses in town will have a trucker towed if they use their parking lots and so no there is not really anywhere for him to park.
Is it the rig and trailer or just the rig? If it is the rig then stop being a pain in the butt, a truckers life is hard enough and so is the girlfriend's life being with a trucker. I was once married to a trucker and they are home maybe 2 to 4 days every 2 or 3 weeks. If it is a nightly thing then he should have a local company that he can park the truck in their trucking yard. But seriously if you are complaining about a total of 5-6 days out of the month just stop being petty and let them be.
Can you get them towed?
That would escalate the problems into a war. You don't screw with how a person makes money.
I'm sympathetic to OP's predicament, but I agree. I have no idea what the solution is, but having them towed potentially leads to loss of employment if they, for example, can't get the truck back out in time. Regardless of the way I'd feel about somebody parking a semi in front of my house, that has collateral damage.
Would I have to foot the bill? And would they just take it without a cop? I’ve never had issue like this 😅
Almost all times a vehicle is towed its at the owners expense.
Only if it is illegally parked
Truck and trailer parked on the wrong side of the street blocking the street
Sounds possibly illegal
cant tow it if it isnt and you dont own it.
Oh by the way Golden/Roxbury is not in Battlefield. That is a Springfield address and is in an unincorporated part of Springfield. Neither city will do anything for you and they would refer you to the Greene County Sheriff's office or the county for ordinances on if he can park in the street or not.
Thank you!
>Thank you!
You're welcome!
never back a semi into a corner, you never know what they're capable of doing when desperate.
This seems like one of those vanity parking spot markers you see at someone’s grandparents house
that's weird
..I take it you know where to buy meth huh
shit i have a feeling you live next to the one who makes it .... lol da?
Prolly what they use that semi for tbh
i will think of something. ok i got it. my old neighbor got the mill up the street to lease them a spot in their parking lot for free for a year, basically handshake permission with the owner/manager. that's basically the only way he found a spot for his work truck though it was a commercial-powerline truck, our HOA hated it being parked in his own parking spot at his own damn house as they naturally hate all things good in the world as well. so that's what he ultimately had to do.>! smoke weed everyday!<
really sucked to have to walk to it in teh snow though. poor bastard. but shit that bed on his truck stook out like 12feet on them powerline trucks so it's like hell we all kinda understood. but the HOA asian lady, no offense to asians, that was retired was like fuck that i seeing his ass walk to his truck in the snow clearing it off starting it up near me that's noisy that ain't happening anymore he's young he can walk 3 miles up the road while i sip coffee every morning. god what a hellhole. central city, colorado hoa in that scenario at least.
Hey, thank you for the genuine response, I really do appreciate it. That’s along the lines of what I thought all trucks did, since city ordnances say you can’t park semis on residential streets unless you’re loading or unloading. At least from my search, and I know I’m not versed in this stuff so any outside info really helps
right on! yeah, it's crap all around for everybody and it seemed to have worked at the end at least as a compromise. g'luck!
i honestly suspect he parks it there because they want to save on their own gas money for having to drive back and forth from jobs to the yards with their own vehicles. which is reasonable but damn, right?
We don’t have an hoa thank god, my only issue is the street isn’t usable and they’re the third house in.
Wut 😂
i'm making joke how their neighbor and putin are backed into corners(limited options in life), one's her neighbor, the other is a rat. da.
You are a moron.
Thank you!
Why are they a moron?
Pretty sure we just found the boyfriend.

I’d ask for them to put orange cones around it. Like what utility trucks do. Maybe it will encourage cars to slow when passing it. Maybe ask them to park further up or back to make it easier for you to get out of your driveway.
