*Update: I have some clothes that will be dropped off! Thank you Springfield 💜

Hey all! In a tight spot financially, but I start a new job soon with a dress code I need to follow. It is business casual. I just need a couple shirts and a couple pairs of pants and I think I can make the work until I get paid and can buy my own.

If the info is helpful I’m a woman but basically dress in only men’s clothing for the most part. I wear an XL shirt and 42 x 32 sized pants. Anything helps! This will be my first office job!

Check out the Career Closet at 2900 E Sunshine. It's in the Missouri Job Center. No-cost business clothing.

I know the Goodwill Career Center had a program/clothing pantry and guys I know who used it RAVED about the clothing available. I haven't used the program myself and don't know if it's still there but maybe someone else here can weigh in.

I can help in the shirt department! I've got two totes of clothing I was just going to donate anyway. Let me know the best way to get them to you!

Goodwill on chestnut and bypass. I always find nice shirt and have pulled over 1000 value in shoes for 5 a pair. Including some 400 dollar Allen edmunds.

Yeah, unfortunately the bank account is negative currently. That’s why I hopped on here, but I would typically go to all the thrift stores!

Damn dude I feel you. All my shirts are 2xl and most have company logos from my last job. If you find shoes that need to be cleaned up and conditioned, let me know. I’d be glad to help.

Depending on the place, reach out and ask for help ahead of time. We’d for sure front you some money out of a couple checks for something like that if needed.

I’m hoping I can get it sorted beforehand, but if I get in a pickle I’ll definitely communicate with them.
