They had to put that because it’s definitely no weather proof.

If this were FB someone would have already tagged it with the group “graphic design is my passion.”

My kid could do it for less time and $0. Already has all the crayons and markers and I’ll help him with the torch. Safety first.

All else being equal, $500 for a quality handmade sign is not unreasonable.

But this thing is truly ugly.

Sure, MAYBE if it was like carved or laser etched or something that actually required a craftsmans tools or techniques. But this is just stencils on a piece of wood. Even if it wasn't butt ugly, stencil lettering on wood should never warrant that price.

Ugly AF. They have no understanding of design basics like composition, color theory, figure ground relationship.

I think the most embarrassing part about this is them hiding behind being a “local business” as if that gets them points outside of heartstring tugging. It doesn’t look informed by any sort of design metric and in fact looks completely half-assed. It’s embarrassing to people who do real, useful work in and around the Ozarks.

Wow. Ive made many signs, and this is very low effort. Maybe 10 bucks.

That looks like garbage, some people need to get better at wood working before trying to sell their crap.

I love the that it starts with a disclaimer about the price. It's nott worthless, but it ain't no $500

I must be missing something...killing trees is environmentally friendly now? Tree huggers would be ashamed of you!

Also, wtf, my 5 year old could make a better sign 🤦‍♂️

I mean, in general wood is far more renewable than plastics, yes.
