My partner is looking to start working in Springfield soon and we live in a different state but are going to relocate next spring. Provided my partner gets a job of course, what are hotels with weekly rates? My only criteria is that I'd really prefer to not have to deal with bedbugs. Can be an extended stay hotel or just a normal one that offers a weekly rate. Thanks in advance!

I know Hilton and Marriot both offer weekly rates but you need to call and speak to them about it to get the rates.

Extended stay america is an option, but I don't have any experience with it so I can't speak on the cleanliness or convenience of it.

I would look at a finished apartment over a weekly rate hotel just because in this area a lot of the weekly rate places have a more “interesting” group who live there.

I don’t know your budget or where you are coming from but I’d avoid; Arbor Suites near the mall Studio Rentals and Fairvue Studios on Norton Rd.

You do not want to stay at an extended stay. This is a city without affordable housing or overnight homeless shelters (except about 50 nights a year), and as such, the low-end hotels and extended stays fill that gap. Look for an airbnb that takes long-term stays or a furnished month-to-month apartment.

Residence Inn using the correct rate will get you around $90/night.

This this this. I once stayed in one that had water on the ground, no shower curtain, they were trying to sell full screen TV's to guests randomly (??) and their breakfast was donuts that they didn't even take out of the Walmart sack 🤣🤣🤣. I paid $75. My airbnb was $55 bucks, clean as a whistle and I made a new friend :).
