Uber or Lyft late at night/early morning?

I'm new to the area and I'm going to a concert tomorrow night and the venue was changed. I normally just walk now this venue is a little bit further than I want to walk late at night. Are uber or Lyft driver's available in this area around 2am?

I've generally not had a problem, might have a longer wait.

Understandable thank you. I just saw there venue closes at 12 so might not be too late after all.

You can pre-schedule a ride with Lyft/ Uber/ a taxi too. I haven’t had a problem when doing that

If you are talking about odyssey vs. the cellar, it’s not that much farther away. You’re still downtown, but I understand your concern. I typically use Lyft.

They moved it to the riff instead of odyssey. Just a bit further than I'd like to walk late at night.

I’ve been able to get Lyfts quicker here than in big cities. Just make sure to tip them well during the hours they really should be sleeping and share you location with someone you know for safety. :)

Someone else is going to Liquid Stranger it looks like. You should be fine for an Uber that time of night. May just take a minute to get there.

Just want to throw this data point out for you: I tried scheduling an Uber ride around 8pm on October 28th, and kept getting an error stating "due to heavy traffic and unpredictable arrival times, scheduling a ride is not available".

I tried several variations on the time window, but nothing was possible until the next day.

I tried Lyft but apparently they don't even support scheduling rides right outside of city limits.

Tip: If this happens to you, call Springfield Yellow Cab. Taxis are still a thing. They were even cheaper than Uber for this particular ride.

Wow im shocked a cab was cheaper. Luckily it's only about a 7 minute drive but that equates to an hour long walk. I've had trouble in the past in different areas trying to get a ride for a similar distance and have had difficulty because it's such a short trip.

Either way, by the responses in this thread I feel pretty confident I won't be stranded. It wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to walk though 🤷‍♂️
