Hey everyone!

I'm looking for recommendations for a primary care physician for myself. I'm a 32 year old female looking for a female provider. Someone who takes their time with their patients and listens to them.

I'm currently having issues with my current provider and getting the medication I need as well as answers I need.

Anyone have any physicians they absolutely LOVE? Or who to avoid?

Thanks!

You might want to put if you are looking for Cox, Mercy, Both or Other

Yeah this matters, more and more I'm meeting and thinking about direct primary care. More time spent with a doctor with a more traditional care taken to understand and solve the problem.

Rather than what most of us are used to good Ng to typical offices.

If you're with Cox, I like Dr. Laura Isaacson, but she must have a large patient load because you might have to wait for a month or more for an appointment.

I didn’t like how she never listened to my concerns and always rushed me out of the office, she put me on medication I didn’t even need, I really never felt safe telling her what’s going on because of how I was rushed out. I had really had pains in my stomach she had no idea what to do. So she played it off like I was faking it, ended up in the ER because of it. After multiple times of her not listening and understanding, I switched To NP Cynthia Armstrong and absolutely love her! Definitely do your research no matter who people suggest!

Barbara Wotherspoon. It took me 25 years to find her, therefore 10 years to finally be diagnosed with endo and PCOS. If it wasn't for her my life would be very different. She is also at Mercy.

If you’re willing to make a bit of a drive, the practitioners at Hometown Medical in Pierce City, MO are fantastic. Currently doesn’t take insurance but they won’t break the bank for you.

There are a couple of women at that same office, Dr. Taylor and Dr. Kim. Both fantastic Drs. Sorry I missed the female part.
