Wild jackrabbits around here aren’t very good eating, imo. You basically have to stew them, as they are tough and gamey. Be much better off to find some rabbit that was bred for meat.

We definitely do. But the same is true of the eastern cotton tail. Our wild rabbits just aren’t delicious here like they are in other places. Meat rabbits are better to eat.

Google it. We have them here. I live right on the edge of the city, near farm land. That’s what they like. I see cotton tails and jackrabbits. 🤷🏻‍♂️
