Recently had a fantastic dinner at Bruno's, would highly recommend.

Sweet Boy's and 417 Taphouse are both great bars with lots of pinball machines. 1984 is purely an arcade, so just depends what vibe you're looking for.

Nicola’s is my favorite fancy-ish restaurant in town. The tortellini is chef’s kiss. Have fun diving with the sharks! I did it a year or two ago and it was pretty cool :)

If you drink, sweetboys for p-ball. Otherwise it's 1984. While you are downtown I would try Bruno's for Italian (get the limoncello cake if they have it). Kai if you want sushi, never had a bad bite there. If you hate money and don't know how to make your own steak, Flame is the place for you! The Order is pretty nice and have pretty good cocktails, but I never go there as a first choice.

"swim with the sharks"? is this a turn of phrase that means hanging out with the boys or something?

I’m taking this as a genuine question, but you can go swim with the sharks at the Bass Pro Aquarium

1984 has pinball machines. I’ve also heard that 417 Taphouse has a few machines as well but I haven’t personally been so can’t attest to the selection.

Metagames has the best pinball in town

If 1984 had an option to not pay the door fee and instead just feed the pinball machines, they'd have Meta beat. But if all you're after is pinball, I'd have to agree.

pogimabus t1_iwnad6t wrote

I like modern pinball machines and they don't have any at 1984, Meta has a selection that spans the decades.

They *(1984) had some modern machines last time I was in there, Mandalorian, Iron Man, and a couple others.

Jimm’s Steakhouse and Pub is one of our favorite nicer places. Amazing steaks and prime rib with lots of other not red meat options. Wonderful service, too!

That’s badass you get to swim with the sharks! Have fun :)

84 is closed on Sundays. Meta has good collection, I haven’t played at sweetboys, but Have heard good things. How upscale for dinner? Avenzare is great, so is Nicolas and metropolitan, cafe cusco is a nice change up from those… Jim’s for old school steakhouse vibe, flame for modern steakhouse vibe…
