NW Arkansas. So much to do. Hiking trails, biking trails, Crystal Bridges (fantastic art museum), Beaver Lake, great places to eat, etc.

I second this. Arkansas is beautiful and there is so many options, especially if you’re willing to drive 4 hours, you could hit a lot of spots.

Girlfriend and I went to OKC a few weeks ago and I was surprised with how much there was to do there. Awesome museums, parks, good food, an NBA team, and Prarie Artisan Ales is one of the best breweries in the Midwest imo

Memphis is about 5 hours. That would be something different, especially if you like music and/or food.

Just you? Go setup camp at Round Springs State Park, and do a multi-day float on the current down to Jack’s fork during the week. If you go before memorial day good chance you’ll have portions of the river all to yourself. Then if you have time to spare, get out your backpack amd go hike and camp up and down the OzarkTrail. Some super nice routes connect in to the Current River park system down there.

When? Eureka Springs with day trips to surrounding attractions- Branson, Crystal Bridges, Silver Dollar City, stuff like that. A lot of that is pretty seasonal though so might want to plan accordingly!

Come to Branson! It's more than just banjo picking hillbillies!

You can golf at Top of the Rock, take a cave tour (take 10, there are caves all over).

Spend a day at the Branson Landing, do some shopping, bowl a few frames and play some games at Andy B's, see the fountains and have dinner at White River Fish Company or Salt Grass Steakhouse.

Take a ride on the Branson Scenic Railway in one of their historic train cars.

Hit the trails and ramps on a mountain bike at The Howler Bike Park. If you don't have a bike or helmet, no worries! You can rent them!

Scoot up to the National Tiger Sanctuary and feed some tigers! From a safe distance and carefully supervised, of course. They also offer golf cart tours if you have mobility challenges.

Check out the shows and attractions on the Branson strip! Mini-golf! Go Karts! Zip lines! Those giant slingshot things that are guaranteed to make you throw up!

Good museums, good restaurants, some kick ass architecture. Tulsa has a lot of art and culture.

Petite Jean Park in Arkansas - You can rent a nice cabin on-site or a yurt. There’s a great restaurant near the cabins. Lots of hiking and outdoor recreation in the area.

Pilot Knob, Mo (or somewhere near by) - close to both Elephant Rocks State Park and Johnson’s Shut-Ins, which are the biggest gems in our state. Absolutely worth the trip!

Kansas City - so much to do. Union Station is incredible, and always has fantastic traveling exhibits. Right now they have one of the Mayans. That’s just one of the thousands of things to do in KC.

St. Louis - several free museums and attractions, including the zoo. It’s a good low-cost plan if you’re taking kids.

St. Charles, KC, Eureka springs, Little Rock, Lake of the Ozarks (probably get some off season pricing), Branson if that's your thing
