I am really interested in dungeons and dragons but don't have an environment where I have friends that play. I have a very open schedule and I am willing to learn other systems (pathfinder and the like.)
If you're new to the area or don't have a group/know people that play, this is the place to go. The Meta guys are awesome and there are a lot of groups that meet there to play.

I would for sure want to do in person, if possible. If I start something, You're at the top of my list.
I'm also not sure how to make a character. I'm terrible at math and would need some help.
If it does go anywhere, might be worth looking into D&D Beyond, it's an app that does the math and die rolls for you.
The paper character creation is what always intimidated me, the app makes getting started so much easier.
Making characters is one of my favorite parts.
I've never played before but it sounds fun and I am looking for some friends. If you get a group going let me know :)

I'm feeling this, too. Tried the Metagames scene, but couldn't find a scheduled play that worked (ie too often).

I'd like to start something up as well. I have DM'd 5e once, but would prefer to play.
I'm in the same boat. I've only played a couple of times but ended up dm'ing done one shots at home

I’ve DM’d a handful of campaigns, all of which have been homebrewed. I’m working on another home brew campaign now. Will have a couple of players that I know, but would be open to taking on 2-3 more players. Looking to start the campaign sometime in January.
