People hate on it because it's not "authentic."

What they don't get is that it is authentic, it's just not authentic MEXICAN. It's authentic, old-school diner style texmex.

The authenticity isn't my issue, it's the bland and way over dried out ground beef. The food is not prepared well at all. It's honestly lower quality than taco bell

Went there once and the ground beef was dog food quality and more expensive than taco bell which is somehow better

It's 1950's texmex mellowed to the Midwestern palette then frozen in time. It is cool for what it is.
