I understand very well. I’ve been downvoted to the ninth inferno for stating as much. Breeding is absolutely important in a dog’s temperament and behavior. My labs retrieve and live for a splash in the lake (especially after a downed duck). My Bernese mountain dog wants to be at my feet at all times and loves to be a goofy, playful companion.
