The same as ppl can be dangerous and treated as such. It's not breed its the ppl who raise them. I've been attacked like this from a random dog in town yrs ago but it was German shepherd that did this same thing attacked a group of us. 1 had to have surgery cuz the bites and scratches. Lucky most of us that got bit wasn't as serious but we had to watch for rabies and crap! All dogs can do this. It's not dogs fault I'm sure since the guy gave them over he wasn't able to care for them How they should be or he was miss treating those dogs. I'd gladly take a pit bull over stupid lil yappy dogs that have big person complex and total jerks always. I've had pit pulls and we rescued each one. And 1 was mistreated and chained up outside for over 6months when we got him he was and Is still the sweetest boy ever. My at time daughter who was like 2 could lay on him and mess with him and he never once got upset or snarled at all. It's so easy just to instantly blame dogs but that person should be charged he should have had control of his animals!

Do bad owners exist? Yes. Do other breeds attack? Yes. Are there certain breeds that have a much higher propensity to attack and maul? Absolutely.
It's nothing short of ignorance to ignore hundreds of years of selective breeding for violence. The breed has had violent tendencies selected for, since the very beginning.
I don't care how snuggly your "nAnNy DoG" is.
