The art museum might be something to look into. I'm pretty sure it is free to go to.

Flea markets. Take hours to browse and cost nothing till you find a gem.

Walk the mall and people watch.

Relics Antique Mall is huge and has a cool mix of legitimate antiques and silly crap, plus you can get a beer or wine to sip as you putter around :)

Sooner is better than later. My sister and I went there last summer for the first time and it’s awesome. 100% recommended

if board games are a thing you two enjoy, or tabletop rpgs (think D&D), look into Metagames for their 417 gamers group and pathfinder society/ the D&D equivalent. Both really cheap (usually toss a few dollars to the game master for their time or those teaching new board games as a thank you). They love to teach new players stuff.

Wilson’s Creek Battlefield will be completely free to visit now at the start of the year. Might be worth checking out their museum on site and a drive around out there.

Bro the cheapest ticket is 30$ . For two people going out on the cheap 60$ is not "little to no money"

the cheapest tickets are actually $18, Bro.
