Women's shelters and hotel vouchers

Are there any organizations that provide hotel vouchers to at-risk women? I have a friend who has been bumped to the top of the placement list for housing assistance, but the situation keeps devolving as the other party realizes she's leaving. There is a child as well. Wouldn't need to be a long stay, she's supposed to be getting a move-in date soon.

Not necessarily for hotel vouchers, but Harmony House provides services for women in at-risk situations. It may be worth checking into as I know they have housing, child care, and a few other services they offer.

The family justice center will work to either place her and her child in a DV shelter or if there is no space available help her with the cost of a hotel room. They can also help with Orders of Protection, child support, and legal concerns related to custody, divorce, and leases.
