I've been to Burrell for many years, then I switched to BiBi health. I loved it at first but then the person I was seeing left and I got put with Dr Bains who owns the place. I guess if your doing alright and you just need your meds it'd be okay. If I genuinely needed help though I'd need to go somewhere else. Also when I went to get blood work the person there was so surprised because she said she used to work for him and he never requested blood work-so much so they couldn't find him in the quest system. Also tried therapy there and that was overall a terrible experience too not to mention the dude acted like I'd hurt myself non stop and I wasn't trying to land a trip to the psych ward. Another thing is they constantly say I did pay for my last appointment all the time so I have to make sure I keep my receipts.
In the end I might just go back to Burrell. None of the psychs there were horrible or anything, it's just when you find one you like the next thing you know they leave. I'd say there's a very high turn over rate in that field as I've been through at least 8 psychiatrists.
Best of luck to you.

You are absolutely right about the turnover rate of psych providers at Burrell... I think Paula Warner is the only one still working here from before I was hired years ago. Most psych providers at Burrell have been great from my experience working with them. Can't say the same for services provided in satellite locations tho...

Yes I never had a problem with any of the psychs there. It was hard when some I grew very fond of that actually listened left though. Was hoping it'd be different at BiBi but the girl I had liked left soon, even though the place was so new. Now I feel pretty hopeless and it seems like they just want to put you on any medication for any little problem.

Overmedication is so prevalent in this industry... And the turnover rate absolutely does suck. It's got to be difficult to have to keep starting over with a new provider.
